Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of annual financial plans and budgets in collaboration with senior leaders.

• Establish and oversee financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance.

• Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, reporting, and forecasting.

• Analyze financial data and reports, communicating insights to senior leaders and Board of Directors.

• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.

• Implement and manage financial systems for efficient financial operations.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and grantor regulations, including audit requirements.

• Mentor and supervise the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and detail oriented development.

• Oversee the administration of human resources, IT, and general office functions.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in the role of a Controller for a minimum of 5 years

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, DIVVY, and Microsoft Office suite highly preferred

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Auditing

• Knowledge of Budget Processes

• Experience with managing Government Grants

• Experience with Donor Perfect and CampMinder would be preferred, not required
