ManTech Junior Program Analyst in Washington, District Of Columbia

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Program Analyst to support PEO IWS 2 on a US Navy Radar systems Program in Washington, DC.

Duties and Requirements Include but not limited too:

  • Engage in Project Management support by liaising between the Radar Community and the various PEOs, SHAPMs, SMEs, and Warfare centers.

  • Provide Financial Management for multiple funding activities through developing and reviewing 7300s, OPPs, Task Planning Sheets, Budgets, and Spend Plans.

  • Review DOD guidance and policy for the application and implementation of In-Service Radars.

  • Provide System support in defining System Interfaces, reviewing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and participating in Critical Design Reviews.

  • Supports Program management oversite of contractor internal test plan/procedure/ production milestones.

  • Develop power point presentations, and agendas, coordinate meetings, track risks and action items, and write meeting minutes.

  • Coordinate with Navy Warfare Center personnel to respond to Data calls and generate Technical Briefs for the Program Office.

  • Support Government Project Manager directly by monitoring cost and schedule performance through Earned Value.

  • Manage the Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) Management Process as defined by standard RIO instructions for the Program, including schedule, production, Test & Engineering, ILS, installation, operation, and cyber security.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Finance, or equivalent.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.

  • Personal computer skills (competent with MS Office applications).

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience with DOD 5000 as it applies to Acquisition and Systems Engineering.

  • Working knowledge of Change Requests & Engineering Change Proposals.

  • Financial experience with Budgets, Estimating, and Task Planning Sheets.

  • Familiar with configuration management principles.

  • Familiar with shipboard installation processes.

  • Familiarization with PEO IWS Element Certification Process.

  • Working knowledge and practical experience with US Navy radar systems.

  • Knowledge of various Combat System Elements.

  • Knowledgeable in the use of MS TEAMS

Travel Requirements:

  • Less than 25%

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

  • May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment.
