Adecco US, Inc. Customer Experience Coordinator in Washington, District Of Columbia

Adecco is assisting a local company in recruiting for a current Customer Experience Coordinator opening in Washington, D.C. This is for a 4-month opportunity. As a Customer Experience Coordinator, you will be responsible for all aspects of managing an active Showroom, managing the customer experience, events, daily hosting/hospitality, and walk in visitors. Job Responsibility

  • Owns and manages the customer experience in the Showroom.

  • Manages and upholds the North American Showroom Protocols and Procedures

  • Owns and manages the day-to-day operations of the showroom/facility.

  • Owns and manages all hosting and hospitality functions including food/beverage displays and room set ups and clean up. Owns and manages all evening events including budgets, planning, and preparation.

  • Manages showroom tour schedule and meeting room usage.

  • Works closely with Project Managers and Showroom Manager on installation of product and showroom construction (Refresh's, new product introductions, product replacements)

  • Maintains current product knowledge on all product lines and understand current workplace issues for walk in presentations to customers, dealers, A+D and students.

  • Maintains the appearance of the showroom so that it is a first-class experience for our clients - embraces the ownership and a 'sense of pride' in all areas:

  • Assures that product is always up to date and functioning properly.

  • Implements Corporate showroom strategy that includes a rigorous protocols program, and seven areas of focused standards. Welcome, Hosting, Hospitality, Operations, Showroom Technology, Standardization, and Presentations.

  • Works with regional and area sales personnel to develop and design customer visits that are unique and specific to each client.

  • Manages all hosting and hospitality in the showroom.

  • Ability to use and troubleshoot facility technology. AV equipment, phone system, video conference, projectors, and monitors

  • Must be an initiative-taker and the ability to self-manage.

  • Must be quick on their feet and the ability to problem solve in a calm and effective manner while under pressure or extreme time constraints.

Qualification/Skill Education

  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Facilities Operations, Hospitality, Design, or related field.

  • Two to four years previous experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Knowledge of systems furniture and/or office application, design, customer experience, etc.

  • Ability to work under pressure, constant change, and work a flexible schedule. Advanced hosting and hospitality skills.

  • Experience in preparing and delivering presentations, demonstrations, and or training skills.

  • Project a positive, professional, and confident image.

  • Demonstrate ability in providing outstanding service to customers and the ability to effectively use office automation, technology, and communication software and tools currently used in showrooms.

  • This position is part of a team that is often a physically demanding job where you are on your feet moving furniture, breaking down food set ups, touring clients, receiving deliveries... Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.

  • Must be able to float between both showrooms located in NW D.C.

  • The working hours will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

  • Pay $25-$29 per hour depending on skill set.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour
