Project Engineer - Turtle Lake, WI Job Purpose:To provide injection molding processing and engineering expertise for a range of product and materials. Also are responsible for identifying and implementing innovative engineering technologies, which will deliver highly efficient and cost effective processes and equipment. * Develops and procures Plastic Injection tooling for new and existing customer part designs. * Manages the development and implementation process of Sanmina\'s products and services, involving departmental and cross-functional teams, focused on the delivery of new or existing products. * Plans and directs resource schedules and budgets, at times in excess of \$500k. * Manages several projects simultaneously, from initiation, to delivery, and through the end of a product\'s lifecycle. * Organizes all interdepartmental activities, ensuring completion of projects on schedule and within budget constraints. * Drives positive change within the organization by seeking out and implementing process enhancements and continuous improvements. * Work closely with customers on part design for manufacturability for Plastic Injection Molding, assuring that Sanmina can process an acceptable product once tool is built. Must understand customer\'s specifications and expectations. * Quote new Plastic Injection tooling, coordinate tooling vendor selection and manage selected tool vendor through entire tool build process. Place tooling PO\'s accordingly. Develop project plan and provide customer with delivery schedules/timelines, Gantt charts, and other desired information. Maintain on-time delivery of tooling. * Lead internal team and drive timely completion of projects, within quoted budget, by maintaining internal checklists and timelines.
