Description We are offering an opportunity in TUCKER, Georgia, United States, for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The role is primarily focused on data entry, specifically focusing on processing Purchase Orders. The role is in the telecom industry and the workplace follows a hybrid model, with two days a week in the office. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Processing approximately 25 Purchase Orders daily with precision and efficiency.

• Utilizing accounting software systems, specifically Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and Microsoft Excel for data entry tasks.

• Handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks, including check processing.

• Identifying and resolving discrepancies in the accounts payable process.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel functions such as Vlookups and Pivot Tables for data management.

• Posting payments to customer accounts and maintaining accurate records.

• Communicating effectively to resolve any issues related to accounts payable and receivable.

• Ensuring attention to detail in all accounting functions.

• Managing numeric data entry tasks with accuracy. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Knowledge of IBM AS/400 and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Ability to handle Check Processing tasks

• Fast and accurate Data Entry skills

• Experience in identifying and resolving Discrepancies

• Proficiency in Data Entry - Numeric

• Understanding of Purchase Orders

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to Post Payments

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role
