Our client in Stanwood, WA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic you will be part of the Maintenance department that repairs production equipment and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and production machines and equipment.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Stanwood, WA

Pay Range: $20-$35/hr DOE Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

What’s the Job?

• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble

• Tests and adjusts equipment to meet performance specifications.

• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.

• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

• Repairs electrical equipment

What’s Needed?

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

• Basic mechanical knowledge in food industry preferred

• One year certificate from college or technical school

• Three to six months related experience or training. Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors and bagging machines preferred

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
