The Maintenance Mechanic III will be responsible for performing general maintenacne and repairs on facilty equipment and property structures. All work will be done in compliance with MIOSHA safety rules and regulations. Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities

· Ability to troubleshoot programmable ladder logic controllers and electrical drives.

· Ability to identify and implement improvements in production processes.

· Assure manufacturing machines and all utilities equipment function at top performance levels.

· Evaluate, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems in the building.

· Assist in design and fabrication of cooling fixtures for process parts.

· Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

· Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to eliminate machine downtime.

· Install/remove equipment and machines as needed.

· Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

• Able to run plumbing and conduit.
• Assure all processes for Maintenance are implemented and documentation maintained.
• Able to understand mechanical and electrical processes.
• Identify and implement improvements in production equipment and processes.
• Can acquire, analyze, interpret information in a logical manner and implement change as required.
• Can organize activities needed to reach goals.
