Intern – Philips Avent Marketing – Stamford, CT – Summer 2024

Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing a graduate (MS/ MBA) degree to participate in paid intern opportunities. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.

Your role:

  • Be an active member of the Philips Avent category team by being responsible for assessing the registry landscape and recommending a registry strategy. Over 80% of moms register for baby products, and on average have 1.7 registries. Philips Avent wants the intern to:

  • provide a clear understanding of the registry marketplace (what are all of the different potential ways to partake in registry experience from sampling, to media placement, to partnerships)

  • a clear understanding of how we perform to date in registry (leverage detailed Amazon data to understand where and how decisions are made, what works best for Philips Avent that we have tried)

  • a recommendation on how we improve our registry presence, experience and performance (should we be spending more money, on what types of media/ programs, with whom)

  • For this project, the intern would be presenting their work to the category team including the Regional Business unit Leader for Philips Avent and the Category Marketing Managers and our Activation Manager. This person would be working with all of the above, plus our Amazon team, Target team, Specialty sales team and MI&A team.

  • Position located in Stamford office – opportunity to work across a cross functional group

  • Individual is expected to be a strong Independent Contributor.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is $30.00 to $40.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
