Do you have experience working as a Maintenance Technician? Are you looking for a new opportunity? Do you have trade school degrees, or equivalent work experience in Facility, Warehouse and Industrial Maintenance? Experience on a High-Speed line? Experience with 3 Phase - 480v, PLCs and VFDs, welding, fabrication and preventative maintenance? We are currently looking for skilled Maintenance Technicians in the St. Louis area. 1st shift 6:00AM to 3:30PM and 2nd shift 6:00PM to 3:30AM Sunday thru Thursday opportunities available. These positions are $41k to $56k based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Troubleshoots and repairs lift trucks, pallet jacks and cat fork trucks: hydraulics; motor and drive unit replacement; tire and wheel replacement load position; basic programming for access 1 modules on rolling stock; change tanks, forks, and peddles; repair/replace cylinders.

• Troubleshoots and repairs conveyor system: repair electrical and mechanical components; may troubleshoot Graphical Monitoring System (GMS); troubleshoots and repairs sortview controller, programmable logic controllers or RTS (pick-to-light system); fabricates machine parts unavailable for purchase.

• Performs preventative maintenance.

• Operates equipment battery change equipment.

• Performs routine maintenance on building such as minor plumbing and electrical repairs (i.e., change light bulbs).

• Repairs racking.

• May operate scrubber/sweeper machine.

• Meets and maintains safety, quality and productivity standards.

• Ability to operate band saws, drill presses, hand tools, vises, clamps, gear pullers, bearing pullers, lathes, volt amp meters, calipers and rolling stock equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Good math and computer skills.

• Competency to operate computers for sortview, RTC, HSM, VFD, and RTS systems.

• Basic communication skills.

• Fluency in Electricity 1 (Basic) and Electricity IV – motor controls and AC / DC Electrical Controls.

1st shift: 6AM to 3:30PM Monday thru Friday - or - 2nd shift: 6PM to 3:30AM Sunday thru Thursday

$41k to $55k

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 2 hours at one time

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
