\ \ Responsibilities\ \

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Evaluate daily progress of drivers to ensure consistency and maximum productivity
• Monitor drivers to ensure proper time management and timely and accurate delivery of orders
• Makes appropriate decisions to ensure that heavy routes are supported so that all stops are completed in a timely manner.
• Supervises Same Day deliveries as necessary
• Effectively builds relationships with customers to create customer loyalty and encourages all drivers to do the same
• Handles difficult customer and employee situations appropriately
• Establishes an open line of communication with employees and addresses issues in a timely manner
• Communicates with Branch Manager and Warehouse Manager daily regarding issues or concerns
• Works independently and manages time appropriately
• Covers delivery routes daily
• Familiar with all routes for all drivers assigned

• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, drivers and Branch Management with an Ability to converse, read and write in English
• Outstanding driving record

\ \ Qualifications\ \

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of Driving Experience
• Some Supervisory Experience
• Current D.O.T Card
• License Preferred: CDL Class A or B
