Revenue Analyst

Location: Shelton CT

Background & Purpose of the Job

The Revenue Analyst (RA) position will drive working capital improvement in the area of accounts receivable by minimizing financial risk associated with our customers, while improving cash-flow by enforcing company Terms of Sale.

The RA’s specific activities will include but not limited to receivables risk management, collection of assigned receivables, payment compliance analysis, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, and other activities as assigned by respective Team Lead/Manager.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

This position is responsible for risk management including new customer set up, release of orders and credit risk monitoring as well as and collection of assigned receivables. The RA also monitors customer risk to ensure alignment of credit limit and risk codes, to minimize order release. RA must have ability to use 3rd party reporting, analyze customer financials and work with Sales. Also has responsibility for creation and maintenance of specific credit reports for assigned receivables. Additional focus on activities related to payment compliance, including root cause analysis, reporting and management of the corrective solution. This position partners with internal and external customers to identify opportunities to achieve working capital goals while mitigating risk.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years in related field

Strong SAP Skills

Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)

Internal controls (SOX)

Consumer products credit management a plus

Additional Skills: General Accounting ability, collaboration, effective communication, strategic influencing and change management.
