The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for telephone communication for entire hospital, to handle in-house paging and beeper function to ensure proper communication throughout the hospital and to staff physicians. To handle incoming and outgoing calls courteously and promptly

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Answers all calls in courteous & efficient manner

• Answers all lines efficiently, handing off calls as quickly as possible

• Coordinates telephone communication

• Maintains on-call lists

• Maintains privacy & confidentiality of patients and employees at all times

• Monitors security panels in PBX office

• Page physicians & hospital personnel clearly and precisely

• Follows all processes per departmental and/or organizational policies

• Participates in mentoring and training of new staff

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Clear and Precise Diction

• Minimum of two (2) years of direct switchboard/PBX experience
