About the Team
This Field Innovation Strategist role is aligned to our Customer Base Medium Enterprise business (customers with under 6,500 employees) and supports 20 Sales teams across the US. You will bring the value of Workday solutions to life and showcase how the world of work can be transformed. To achieve this, you will partner closely with Account Executives and Solution Consultants as well as intersecting with Product Management, Marketing and Value Management teams.
About the Role
In this role you will be a force multiplier within the Solution Consulting organization, focusing on the top sales opportunities for a given quarter or year. You will lead teams of Solution Consultants, Value Managers and Account Executives to deliver engaging presentations through customer-centric experiences that meet the customer where they are at today and show them where they could be tomorrow with Workday. This role is fast paced and involves working alone as well as with a variety of different roles.
You are expected to work from a Workday office or be available to be in-person with customers 50% of your time within a quarter if needed.
In this innovative and strategic role, you will also:
Build dynamic but repeatable frameworks to articulate value delivery, messaging and presentations from 'discovery to debrief'
Develop strong customer-centric messaging to translate the Workday story and value into the worlds of our customers
Independently learn in order to stay in front of tech trends to continuously align messaging with the direction of business technology innovation
Create industry-specific messaging and tactics to support our key verticals (Technology, Manufacturing, Retail, Hospitality & Professional Services)
Engage in prospect interactions, storytelling, and deal support
Provide field trainings and act as the product and strategy field liaison
About You
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of SaaS Sales / Solution Consulting experience
2+ years of knowledge with selling value and delivering to audiences in an engaging way
Other Qualifications
Ability to generate creative and differentiated designs
Excellent customer service and communication skills, SaaS sales experience is a plus
Experience leading diverse groups of people through high-value conversations to get to customer objectives
Sales mentoring or presentation coaching experience
Strategy-driven approach to solving problems and think differently
Demonstrated skills of creativity and emotional in
