Description

We are currently seeking an organized, reliable, and diligent Accounting Clerk to join an established company based in Tukwila. This is a contract position, and the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for streamlining our accounting functions and operations, providing financial analysis and reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Record financial transactions and post them in various accounts.

• Assist in invoice processing and payments.

• Perform bank reconciliations.

• Maintain records and files adequately for audit trails.

• Compile necessary reports to management on sales, trends, and expenditures.

• Ensure strict adherence to company financial policies and procedures.

• Assist with year-end preparation and procedures.

• Respond to queries by the Management regarding accounting numbers.

  Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar position in Accounting.

• Excellent understanding of bookkeeping procedures.

• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).

• Strong math and data entry skills.

• Close attention to detail and problem-solving orientation.

• Good knowledge of MS Office especially Excel.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
