A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A PROJECT ENGINEER

As a Project Engineer, you will be directly responsible for the development of design solutions to challenging water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure issues for industrial and municipal clients. You will engage with project managers and client managers to develop production documents that detail solutions for construction. You will direct staff including project support personnel and collaborate with various in-house sub-disciplines for a coordinated deliverable.

In addition to developing plans and specifications, you will assist with proposals, scopes, and fees. You manage the demands of in-house and external surveying support and track performance. Your exceptional communication skills assist you in developing successful relationships with clients, staff, municipal authorities, vendors, and contractors. You also utilize these skills as you present at design meetings, construction progress meetings, and internal coordination meetings. • QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• Professional engineer registration in Texas
• At least 3 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment
• Experience with regulatory permitting with TCEQ is recommended but not required. Experience with software including AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS is a plus!
• Desire to grow roots in Frisco, Texas
