Our field sales team is the face-to face contact with our customers, delivering innovations, incentives and solutions.
The Operator Development Manager’s purpose is to deliver against set targets and grow profitable sales in their market on Unilever Food Solutions products, including all Hellmann’s/Best Foods, Lipton, Pure Leaf, Tazo and Knorr products.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do:
The Key Account Sales Manager (ODM) is responsible for penetrating small regional chain restaurant and independent restaurant operators in the market by proactively targeting new operator targets, while also growing with existing customers by developing and executing operator account business plans for the Southern California territory.
The ODM will have an active market presence, spending a minimum of 4 days per week making operator calls.

What You’ll Need To Succeed
A successful candidate will have the following: Self-confidence, persistence, interpersonal sensitivity, committed to a team environment, an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for driving results and a love of food.
4 year college degree or 2 year + Culinary Degree, preferred
4 year experience in foodservice sales
Proven track record of developing strategic relationships with decision makers of small regional chain and independent restaurants
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word required
Proficiency and drive to become a proficient user of our systems (Blacksmith/Forge, Salesforce.com, Power BI)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Passion for driving results with a strong interest in the food industry
Strong Business Acumen
This is a home-based position with 30% travel.
