Unilever Education Sales Manager - NW in REMOTE, West Virginia

General Description:

The Education Sales Manager supports sales through education, through the long term Education planning / execution of all channel top salons, stores and chain salons in the region; networking with and developing the business in potential new TIGI Salons. Personally facilitating Education, and supporting TIGI Education in these salons, stores and distribution meetings. They will also assist in identifying, recruiting and cultivating TIGI talent best suited to the salon. Guaranteeing Hairdressers are inspired and motivated during implementation of in-salon, in –store, regional events and shows.

Regional Events / Sales Support / Key Account Support 45%

Facilitating Playdates & Translation classes / Supporting Classes 45%

Administration 10%

The ESM reports to the Business Development Manager, West

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Execute highly impactful TIGI Playdates, which cultivate new TIGI Salon business.

  • Teach a minimum of 6 Playdates, Copyright Your Colour 101, and Translation classes, and 2 Ask the Expert in Store demonstrations per- month.

  • Responsible for working daily with and directing all direct-to-salon functions to include: TIGI Sales Management, DSC’s, Store Employees, Salons, Distributor Sales Management, Education Team(s) and National Accounts.

  • Work effectively with Management in the long term education planning with the top Regional accounts as part of the overall business plan; setting goals & objectives to building their business.

  • Support in partnership with Distributor & TIGI sales/education team; on Regional Events, Sales meeting, Classes, Shows, Sales & Store meetings and National Accounts

  • Identify and work with Sales team and Distributor Sales Personnel on opening new salons on a quarterly basis; setting goals & objectives with regard to opening these salons

  • TIGI Collective recruiting & development by providing feedback on skills & competencies In partnership with REDs to Directors of Field Education(DOE)

  • Support of Regional TIGI Collective trainings with RED, to ensure all education goals are met.

  • Resident stylist expert at meetings

  • On site logistics support with local Events, and sales meetings.

  • Preferred 2 days per month working behind the chair in Salon on weekends where there is no TIGI Event or after business hours.

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • High School graduate. College graduates a plus.

  • Current licensed cosmetologist with min. 5 years industry experience

  • Superior technical hairdressing and teaching skills

  • Superior sales and communication skills

  • Ability to plan, develop, and adhere to budgets, for all field training activity and T&E

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Must live in designated geographical territory

  • Ability to travel extensively (minimum 50%).

  • Ability to be flexible and accept change and be a team player
