Description
Join our Vertek product line team of sales, technicians and engineers developing diverse geotechnical site investigation equipment. The Service Coordinator is a valued member of the team tasked with work that is critical to the success of our product line. Tasks include scheduling and coordinating logistics of incoming Vertek product line repairs and calibration.
Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is looking for a bright, motivated, and energetic individual that is detailed-oriented, customer focused and a team player to effectively coordinate the incoming and outgoing service repair and calibration of ARA and Vertek product line. In addition, the service coordinator will interface with our production team, technicians and customers.
What you’ll do as a Service Coordinator
Receive and organize service repair forms from Vertek customers
Receive the Vertek repair equipment and create repair sales order and data entry into our repair module
Manage repair schedule and priorities
Work with customer and technicians to communicate repairs needed, obtaining approvals
Update repair records and invoice to customer
Customer training, troubleshooting phone calls and emails
Managing repair priorities and due dates
Notifying customers when equipment is due for yearly calibration
Processing warranties and returns
Small parts orders
Provide shipping cost estimates
Generate shipping related paperwork
Coordinate shipment pickup and delivery
Assist in export control documentation
Coordinate with forwarders and customs for import/export
Service Coordinator Requirements
High school diploma plus advanced training
4-5 years experience.
Electrical and mechanical background, preferred.
Customer service experience, preferred.
Knowledge of basic computer usage.
