DESCRIPTION

As a member of our sales team, you will be responsible for calling customers to communicate and execute sales and merchandising strategies, promotions and guidelines. In this position, you will be expected to achieve results by identifying volume opportunities, providing excellent customer service, providing product information and ensuring product dominance and distribution.

Yourexcellent communication and sales skills are complemented by your enthusiasm and superior presentation skills. Highly organized with excellent communication skills, you're a natural problem solver with a talent for selling and building strong customer relationships.

Overview:

This position primarily provides sales merchandising coverage and special retail projects for a given territory by executing our customer's in-store priorities and objectives, as established by management, to achieve superior in-store results in a given territory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hand-carried reports

• Implementation of new items

• Maintain 100% distribution of existing items

• Ensure compliance with shelving guidelines and action plans

• Price audits

• Build displays and place point-of-sale material

• Establish relationships with store personnel

• Negotiate product placement

• Communicate customer information and sales promotions

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous retail experience in a territory is desirable

• Strong interpersonal and persuasive communication skills

• Organized, self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Computer literate and comfortable using digital technology (handheld computer, camera, etc.)

• Regular access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license,safe driving record and ability to meet auto insurance requirements.

• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds, stand, bend and stretch daily.

• Ability to drive for long periods

• Ability to stock product samples and shelving

• Access to high-speed Internet
