  • Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail, the global and EMEA home of the group's duty free, air travel and cruises business.

We are an organisation of 2,000 employees in the UK, headquartered in London, in a brand-new office designed with sustainability, 'conviviality' and collaboration in mind. We also have offices in Scotland and various distilleries and production sites across the UK from Plymouth to London to Speyside.

Your new team

This position sits in our Chivas Brothers business. At Chivas Brothers, our 1,600-strong team across 27 sites is committed to upholding the heritage of Scotch and ensuring its sustainable future, as well as opening it up to new audiences across the globe.

The Linn House Night Porter has a pivotal role to play in helping the team to deliver excellent customer service/ hospitality to all guests staying at Linn House through advocacy and best in class in Company health & safety.

Your unique contribution

To create a pleasant experience for the guests by ensuring security of guests and the Linn House during the night. To deliver Hospitality with passion and providing truly memorable moments to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure Linn House is kept to high standards of cleanliness and the security of people and premises is maintained throughout the night shift
  • Liase with International Brand Ambassador and LH Evening Host to ensure all guests needs are accommodated to high standards of quality
  • You'll be responsible to set and clear stations for guests such as the Whisky bar for drinks and Dining room for next morning breakfast service.
  • Ensure that you carry out operations within Linn House conform to current Health and Safety legislation and report any failings to company health and safety representative.
  • Be qualified in First Aid - Course delivered by Chivas Brothers.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Linn House Supervisor.

Your blend of talent

This position could be right for you if you:

  • General knowledge & passion of Scotch Whisky and Chivas Brothers Company brands
  • Have a good working knowledge of Night Porter duties
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work within in team to promote the interests of the Chivas Brothers brands and deliver an exceptional guest experience
  • Good communication skills: ability to communicate effectively at all levels within and out with the Company to foster positive relationships
  • Ability to work unsocial hours, including weekends, and day shifts when there is a business requirement.
  • Pro-active outlook and the ability to adapt changing circumstances at short notice
