SoftwareONE Business Development Executive (Presales) - IT Portfolio Management(SAM/SLM) in Prague, Czech Republic

The role Business Development Executive (Presales)-IT Portfolio Manager SAM/SLM is a solutioning expert against customer challenges/ Business needs. The Business Development Executive is responsible for accelerating time to value for our Customers and supporting them in their cloud and digital transformation by aligning our solutions. The Business Development Executive identifies, develops, and lands opportunities for defined portfolio elements in cooperation with Account Management. The focus is new business generation with both new and existing customers and has good technical understanding and the ability to transform our customers challenges into commercial solutions. For existing customers, the Sales cycle is started by the Account Management. This role requires Czech and English language skills Location: Czechia (hybrid /offices in: Prague) Responsibilities: Improves organization's market positions and revenue growth through identifying and acquiring new customers and business opportunities, Establishes relationships with new and existing customers and secure new business in the assigned portfolio element(s), Drives the entire Sales Cycle from initial Customer Engagement till Contract Closing for new customers. For existing customers, Sales Cycle is started by Account Manager, Works with Account Managers to ensure that the overall account strategy and goals will be followed and achieved, Maintains a very detailed level of relevant knowledge on the assigned portfolio element(s) to have meaningful and relevant conversations with customers and prospects, Works with Pre-Sales Consultant / Technical Architects / Practice Leaders to ensure that we design the right solutions for our customers, Owns the proposal and Statement of Work (SoW) overall and engages pre-sales consultant for more complex content related to the specific practice, Provides feedback to Account Management on ways to decrease the Sales Cycle, enhance Sales, and improve company brand and reputation, Processes daily sales tasks using the SWO’s CRM and preferred sales platform. Keeps data like contacts, leads and opportunities updated, integrates colleagues in the sales process. Observes and updates the weekly forecast and checks daily bookings. What we need to see from you You´re a highly motivated and results-oriented person We appreciate a University degree in business/IT or comparable education or relevant experience in ITAM/SLM/SAM Experience in IT Asset Management / Software Lifecycle Management / Software Asset Management is key Knowledge of at least one of the vendors - Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP Experience in selling or working with ITAM / SAM tools such as SNOW, Flexera, ServiceNow, and similar is an advantage Experience in preparing, presenting formal proposals to customers and conducting meetings Knowledge and market orientation and maintaining awareness of current IT trends Communicative English and Czech (both must haves)#LI-IW1 What you should really know about us.
