Mission
- Operates the specific vehicles used for the project work in their field of specialty (road, pipelines, rail, etc.) in observance of the safety guidelines.
Main Responsibilities
Work in accordance with safety guidelines linked to the job activities, including the wearing of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Transport and dump concrete to external customer(s)
Ensure slump of concrete is up to specifications requested of customer(s)
Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all federal, state, local and company safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
Push or pull levers to turn mixer drum and dump contents
Move hand and foot controls to move truck forward and backward to aid in the placement of concrete
Inspect truck equipment and supplies in accordance with CDL pre-trip guidelines
Maintain vehicles by carrying out standard upkeep (oil and lubricate equipment, in addition or other minor repairs) in observance of company and federal guidelines and regulations
Qualifications
Ability to do basic math
Must hold a CDL B or higher
Physical Requirements
Physical strength must be enough to climb in and out of a truck throughout the workday
Vision must be acceptable for day and night driving
Must be able to lift 60 lbs
