The Process Engineer I will support the efforts to improve and maintain the manufacturing engineering function, validate and implement manufacturing processes. The role will include continuous improvement projects in process capability, product validation, modernization and replacement of obsolete/deteriorated conditions. Main functional area(s) of focus are silicone molding, extrusion, and cutting, with high automation focus. Key Accountabilities Work with functional teams as leader and senior level manufacturing engineers to specify, design, procure and implement equipment / process / tooling that is in compliance with equipment specifications, meets IOQ & PQ process / product validation requirements. Manage and troubleshoot activities related to customer complaints and maintain routed standards. Design & implement new processes & enhancements for new/existing products (WCM Green Belt Tools in everyday job). Plan and conduct experiments on current production processes and engineering improvements to characterize process windows. Acquisition and implementation of equipment. Support, maintain / develop standards, create operating instructions, train production personnel. Is this job for you ? Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
