Position summary

T-Mobile is Americas supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Sr. Engineers, Software located in Overland Park, KS will update software and enhance existing software capabilities, maintain databases, and coordinate database development.

• Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints and monitor urgent requests from cross-functional teams for support, as needed.
• Store, retrieve, and manipulate data to analyze system capabilities and requirements.
• Develop documentation to support software, including server configurations and infrastructure information.
• Execute triage processes, which includes monitoring and troubleshooting failures within pipelines and deployments, as well as attending triage conferences to determine solutions and new features for mitigation.
• Create and monitor telemetry dashboards to track and fix the health and security of the systems and applications, to align the platform capabilities with business requirements.
• Manage and orchestrate infrastructure and implement automation with pipelines and testing measures.

Skill requirements:

Requires experience in each of the following:

• Using JavaScript and building web application front ends with React and Angular 11/12; using RxJs and NgRx state management libraries.
• Working with AEM 6.3/6.5 and Java 8/11 technologies and using JCR, Apache Sling, workflow, Apache Felix, OSGi, OAK, JSON, HTML5, CSS, SCSS, and LESS; and working with templates, components, dialogs, content fragments and experience fragmnents, workflow development, configurations, and bundles.
• Developing Microservices using REST framework and Spring Boot, Used Spring Framework at Business Tier and Spring Bean Factory for initializing services.
• Working with Node.JS, as well as Express and HapiJS to develop code relying on monorepos with Nx.
• Working with Java/J2EE, Data Structures, SQL, NoSQL, and complex databases.
• Utilizing MuleSoft (Mule 4), Data weave, API designer and connector technology, as well as using HTTP, File, SMTP, FTP, SFTP, JDBC Connector, and Transaction Manager.

Experience and education requirements:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree in Computer Science, or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
