Civil Engineering Quality Control (QC) Manager

The Civil Engineering QC Manager oversees and ensures the quality and compliance of civil engineering projects within KEITH’s Land Development division. This role can work out of any KEITH office, can be hybrid or remote, and work part-time or full-time if desired.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Implement and improve the KEITH quality control processes and procedures for civil engineering projects.

  • Maintain quality standards in accordance with industry regulations and KEITH policies.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor compliance with quality requirements.

  • Review project plans, specifications, and designs to identify potential quality issues and ensure feasibility.

  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop quality assurance plans and resolve quality-related challenges.

  • Provide guidance and training to project teams on quality control procedures and best practices.

  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies, to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

  • Document and report quality control findings, including non-conformities and corrective actions, to management.

  • Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.

  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality-related matters to support project success.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, advancements, and best practices in civil engineering quality control.  

    What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field

  • Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

  • Proven experience in quality control or assurance within the civil engineering industry.

  • Strong knowledge of Florida civil engineering principles, practices, and standards.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve complex quality issues.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary Teams.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Leadership abilities with a track record of guiding teams to achieve quality objectives.
