Job Summary and Qualifications

Division Contracts Administrator assists Division Director of Contract Administration in the respective HCA division and facilities’ contracting process for professional and administrative service agreements as well as non-referral sources contracts. Assists with obtaining appropriate internal approvals, drafting, finalizing and maintaining new and existing agreements and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Establishes and maintains relationships between the division contracting department and facility administration, legal counsel, and other relevant parties as needed. Assists in maintenance and integrity of the Physician Contract management database (PAWS master control log) for the division, as well as any other Division-managed shared sites or databases. Generates reports for contract inventory and uses the database system(s) to produce agreements for the respective division or hospital. Assists and participates in coordination with executive hospital leaders.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, in the discipline of healthcare or business-related field.

  • Two or more years of relevant experience required, including legal and/or physician contracting experience

  • General knowledge of the healthcare industry.

  • General knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, compliance and relevant state and federal laws.

  • High degree of initiative, critical thinking and analytical skills.

  • Strong written and verbal skills.

  • Expert ability in the use of databases such as Microsoft Office, and other software applications.

  • Strong ability to handle various requests from multiple facilities and parties.

  • High-level of organization skills and ability to prioritize workload based on facility/division needs.

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated, with a high degree of integrity and accountability.

  • This is a remote position; however, Contract Administrator must be available during normal business hours.

  • Participation in daily huddles and weekly one-on-ones via video conference is required.

  • Calls with facility teams are expected to be held via video conferencing.

  • There may be a need for site visits as requested by Facilities or Division.

  • Minimum travel may be required.

  • Colleague must sign and adhere to the FWD Contract Administration Teleworking Agreement.
