We are hiring a Robotics/ Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team! This position applies advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of engineering principles, program, integrate and debug. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:CNC, PLC, motion control, operator interface, temperature control and facility systems.Provide assistance to systems maintenance department with introduction and launch of new technologies in automation and controls and ensure compliance with OSHA Safety Standards including Hazard Communication, Bloodborne Pathogens, Lockout, Permit Required Confined Space, Hot Work Permit, Powered Industrial Trucks, P.P.E. and Ergonomics. Fanuc robot integration support, composition of automation SOR, a list of our specific PLC and HMI installed here, Ignition DB integration, Sig-POD real time data acquisition support, support transition to real-time production data acquisitionSix Sigma waste identification and waste reduction efforts, productivity improvements within automated cells a key performance metric.70 robots in production casting, finishing, machining, and assembly cells.Assist in setting plant electrical and control standards.Execute Continuous Improvement projects.Participate in classes and training seminars to learn new technologies and techniques deemed helpful to performance of job duties. Requirements: Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics EngineeringMinimum two years of experiencePLC experience with Allen Bradley primarily. Nice to have also; PLC5, SLC 500, Studio 5000, Micro Logix.PLC SCADA, Networking and Ignition.Experience with at least one of these CNC Controllers: Mitsubishi, GE Fanuc and Siemens.Laser marking systems Telesis or Kyience.Prior work experience with Fanuc Robots is a plus.
