SAP Localization Product Management for Chile and Peru (FIN/LOG) in Las Condes, Chile

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAPs Globalization Product Management (GPM) is part of the SAP Globalization Services organization, focusing on localizing SAPs products so that customers can run a global solution according to their local or country-specific needs.

Our team is looking for a talented and pro-active Product Manager with a strong background in Financial Accounting and Taxes for countries Chile and Peru, with knowledge of regulations related to e-invoicing and inflation accounting.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Monitor legislation in Chile and Peru in so far as it impacts SAPs localized solutions and document resulting product requirement documents for our engineering teams to update our localized solutions.

  • Roll-in market requirements related to local regulatory compliance. Engage with customers, stakeholders, user groups at conferences and presentations providing necessary updates on product localization.

  • Gather and prioritize customer requirements into product backlog items and ensure high-quality specifications are maintained.

  • Perform acceptance testing of new localization functionalities, ensuring that deliverables meet local legal and business requirements with adequate quality.

  • Contribute to evolution of product vision, roadmap, and usage plans.

  • Disseminate knowledge about localization capabilities through high-touch engagements by direct interaction with key customers, partners and SAP stakeholders from sales, consulting and support.

  • Develop productized assets such as documentation, videos, online learning etc. to grow roll-out of localization capabilities as low-touch interaction.

  • Provide legal clarification to support and engineering teams during customer incident handling.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Technical / Functional expertise: Strong background in Financial Accounting and Taxes.

  • Understanding of regulations related to e-invoicing and inflation accounting for Chile and Peru.

  • Experience in FI, SD, MM, FA either in SAP ERP (preferably SAP S/4HANA

  • Knowledge in SAP Document and Reporting Compliance would be advantageous.

  • Exceptional customer focus and business-driven mindset.

  • Excellent skills in communication, creative thinking, and networking.

  • Business fluent in English and Spanish.

  • Assertiveness and cultural awareness to ensure effective communication with stakeholders from other regions, including Europe and Asia.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 5-7 years of professional experience with SAP ERP in Finance and Logistics (FIN, SD, MM).

  • Proven track record demonstrating necessary skills and competencies as outlined in this job posting.
