What do you contribute?

Become part of our team and provide impetus for sustainable and efficient mobility. Be responsible for the procurement and material field strategy for one or more commodities in the area of mechanical components for innovative rail vehicles.

  • You will be the driving force in a cross-functional team to develop optimal solutions together with our suppliers during the development phase and to break up single-source situations in existing projects.

  • You will be in charge of designing award strategies using game theory methods to achieve the optimum cost/benefit position for the product platforms and projects.

  • You will manage suppliers in terms of performance and quality and actively implement supplier development measures.

  • In addition, you analyze procurement markets and identify suppliers, capacities, technologies and innovations.

  • You will also drive forward the topics of sustainability, digitalization and process optimization in your area of responsibility.

What do you bring along?

  • The basis for your success is a degree in a technical or commercial field (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or business administration).

  • Moreover, you also have professional experience in strategic purchasing (ideally in a technical and international business field).

  • You feel at home in an intercultural environment and see your future role as an exciting challenge.

  • You enjoy working in cross-functional teams and managing and coordinating tasks and team members.

  • You have a good knowledge of common IT systems (e.g. SAP, Office 365) and are open to new developments and tools.

  • If you are business fluent in English and ideally have a good command of German, we look forward to receiving your application.
