As anNDTQuality Inspectorat Trinity, youll make visual and measured inspection/tests of materials/ products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements. Complete inspection records and reports and follow appropriate codes and regulations.
What youll do:
- Makes visual and measured inspection of products the majority of the time to ensure conformance with standards and determines if product meets all requirements
- May inspect incoming materials, outgoing materials, or products or assemblies throughout the manufacturing process
- May apply singular or multiple inspection processes using various appropriate NDE methods
- Able to maintain, adjust or calibrate inspection equipment
- Completes inspection records and reports
- Familiar with appropriate codes, regulations, applicable procedures & standards
- Follows all safety rules and practices
- May be involved in safety committees or CI initiatives
- Performs other duties as assigned
- For new hires previous work experience and/or certifications may be considered for the corresponding job level position
- Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment
- Basic knowledge of operational function to be inspected
- Ability to achieve appropriate NDE certifications within 6 months
- Proficient in the use of inspection tolls and measuring equipment
- Understands and applies quality science and tools
- Certified to conduct and approve 2 or more NDE method (such as bubble leak, dye penetrant, ultrasound)
- May work under supervision of Level II or Level III Certified NDT inspector
