Vontier Stock Controller in Johannesburg, South Africa

JOB TITLE: Stock Controller

DEPARTMENT : Supply Chain

REPORTING TO: Warehouse Controller LOCATION: Johannesburg Meadowdale Warehouse

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Stock controller is responsible for Ensuring that the Kanban stock levels meet company’s needs, monitoring shipments to customers/subcontractors as well as Internal transfers between departments within one business enterprise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Weekly Kanban counts and Daily stock Audit.

  • Cycle count management and Variance investigations.

  • Stock receiving, scanning of supplier’s invoices and storage in accordance with pre-established standards of work,

  • Sign off on all order despatch in accordance with pre-established standards of work as well as management of POD Folder,

  • Project stock Management,

  • Track Shipments, book collections and address any delays,

  • Update of daily management boards,

  • Other Ad Hoc Tasks

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education/ achievements

  • Matric with at least partial warehouse/Supply chain Qualification

Experience/ Knowledge

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse

  • High Level of Accuracy

  • SAP Business one

  • Matric qualification

  • Supply chain/warehouse Qualification preferred

  • Very good analytical skills

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal

  • Strong Administration SkillsInterpersonal and communication skills

Specific Skills

  • Attention to detail, Excel skill and advanced Microsoft Word, dedication to deadlines and due dates
