As a Catheter Engineer , you will be responsible for: * Leading engineering solutions related to ICE catheter design and manufacture. * Leading engineering efforts and taking responsibility for planning, organizing, and conducting projects related to electro-mechanical devices, components, tools, and processes. * Creating CAD models for ICE catheter designs and new related technologies. * Creating CAD models and drawings for process and testing tooling. * Facilitating communication between manufacturing and development engineering groups in different countries. * Document engineering work, which may be completed by other engineers. * Conduct independent technical reviews and analysis of using the solid models using standards mechanical engineering principles. * Prepare drawing design specifications, analyses and recommendations for presentation and team review. * Design electronic packaging for miniature electronic devices. * Design sterile barrier packaging for medical devices. * Interact with suppliers to ensure procurement of components needed for your projects This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers: * Solid modeling and drafting, especially in Creo and Windchill. * Medical device development and manufacturing processes. * Experience writing verification plans, protocols, conducting verification testing, and compiling reports. * You have excellent communication skills and can collaborate with engineers of all levels, assemblers, and technicians. * Experience in developing ergonomic electromechanical fixtures or tools is desired. Required skills to have for the success of this role: * Minimum of 5 years in medical device engineering. * Batchelor's degree in mechanical or related field.
