Are you driven by data and passionate about shaping digital strategies? Walmart is looking for candidates to join our newly formed Business Analysis & Insights team! As Senior Manager, Business Analysis & Insights, you'll be a key contributor to the ongoing success of our site content strategy.

Reporting to the Director, Business Analysis & Insights, this role will be critical in establishing SOPs , hiring and mentoring analysts and building an analysis framework for our content strategy. This is a unique opportunity to help build a team from the ground up!

Once established , the team will support formal and informal reporting and analysis needs and help identify opportunities to accelerate our learning through data. Actionable insights will be key as you share outcomes through various channels, standardizing communication for stakeholders. You'll Make An Impact By...

• Provide data-driven analysis and insights to help support business strategies by evaluating ongoing analytical needs; reporting data-based insights in a uniform manner; reporting on business strategies; collaborating with internal and external business partners to build a consistent and accurate strategy for using data-driven insights

• Establish appropriate data modeling approaches to facilitate timely data analysis. Drive requirements on structure and schema of data models.

• Utilize developed data schema to build automated dashboard and reporting views. Train Business partners on Dashboard and Report utilization for self-guided analysis

• Provide root cause analysis as identified through long term KPI trends (ability to manipulate data with SQL and BI tools directly (GCP, tableau, Looker) .

• Synthesize key results into a presentation format that focuses on meaningful insights that inform future action

• Work with Business Leads and Manager, A/B Testing to articulate and champion meaningful tests with outcomes tied to action based on observed analytics

• Identify new metrics needed to assess performance, build business requirements for metric definitions and partner with data analytics and business teams for successful implementation

• Mentor Manager s , Business Analysis - and uplevel skills on data manipulation , report development , analysis and stakeholder management

• Support Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Business review with a focus on actionable insights that influence short -, mid - and long - term strategy

• B uild automated dashboard and reporting views in BI tools (tableau, looker, etc) . Train Business partners on Dashboard and Report utilization for self-guided analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field and 4 years' experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area OR 6 years' experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area.

• 4 years' experience using SQL and BI tools for data analysis purposes .

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business or related field.

• 4 years experience with statistical programming languages.

• 2 years supervisory experience .

• 4 years experience working with cross-functional teams.

• 4 Years experience in dashboard development (preferably Tableau)
