Xtreme Manufacturing is seeking a highly motivated Class C Mechanic in Henderson, Nv with a mechanical background to join our production team. We are seeking a mechanic who is committed to quality, with high attention to detail and takes pride in their work. A good candidate will need to focus on meeting production goals and ensure that quality comes first. As a Class C Mechanic, you will perform installations, and repairs on all makes and models of Xtreme equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to repair, install, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components to ensure the optimal performance of the equipment. As a Class C mechanic, you are expected to have at least 3 years (preferred) of experience in heavy equipment repairs. This is a full-time opportunity, working Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Class C Mechanic is responsible for assembling parts for our telescopic handler, forklift, and delivery truck lines of equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Pre-assemble and install parts including axles, hydraulic components, radiators, bearings, hoses, wiring, tires, engines, and cabs.

Rework, repair and replace damaged parts or assemblies.

Read and interpret assembly blueprints.

Maintain cleanliness and safety of the shop.

Perform other duties as assignment by management.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in auto repair, heavy construction equipment repair or vehicle assembly is required.

Ability to read and understand assembly drawings.

Ability to read electric and hydraulic schematics preferred.

Basic computer skills.

Necessary to possess a strong work ethic.

Ability to read, write and comprehend written and verbal English.

Necessary to be able to thrive in a high pressure, deadline-driven environment.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee has to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Necessary to be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Steel-toed safety boots required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

For Full-Time employees, expect to work a 10-hour shift on average, including overtime if necessary.

Reliably commute to Henderson, Nevada, or planning to relocate to local area before starting work.
