Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

Salary Range

$78,200.00 - $129,100.00

What Is the Opportunity?

The Legal Operations Sr. Analyst must be a problem solver who is passionate about data and analytics, innovation, automation, technology enablement, and driving efficiency to advance operational excellence across Corporate Legal Services. The role is focused on conducting data analysis to promote data-driven decision-making, implementing solutions to automate processes, improving document, matter and knowledge management capabilities, and implementing outside counsel management initiatives. The Legal Operations Sr. Analyst is expected to manage tasks, identify business needs and requirements and make recommendations, draft presentations, document processes and workflows, analyze data and produce reports that turn data into compelling visualizations that provide insights, all in support of the strategic priorities for Corporate Legal Services and Corporate Legal Operations. This role reports to the Director, Corporate Legal Operations.

What Will You Do?

  • This role will focus on operations across Corporate Legal by working with the Corporate Legal Operations team to prioritize operational objectives and execute on ongoing projects and initiatives.

  • Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with the Director to advance Corporate Legal's data journey, leveraging data and analytics to create reports and presentations using data visualizations and storytelling to communicate insights and inform decisions/outcomes.

  • Support ebilling and matter management operations.

  • Execute on the Corporate Legal Operations Strategic Plan.

  • Under guidance from the manager, implement methods to improve department efficiency and productivity, including through workflow automation.

  • Partner with IT on implementation of technology roll-outs, including executing on change management strategies, drafting and revising documentation, and delivering end-user training.

  • Assist with planning, presentation development, logistics and execution of key internal Corporate Legal Department events, such as webcasts, speaker events, and offsites.

  • Support strategies for effective outside counsel and vendor management.

  • Support programs that optimize the sharing of knowledge and collaboration across the department.

  • Execute on tasks and initiatives related to operational objectives.

  • Participate in legal operations industry groups and initiatives, as appropriate.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 3+ years experience with legal department technologies, including eBilling, matter management, document management, and others.

  • 3+ years experience with descriptive analytics, data quality, data retrieval, reporting, and dashboards.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to effectively communication and present technical data.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel and PowerPoint.

What is a Must Have?

  • Three years experience in supporting legal operations function or equivalent function.
