Who You Are

A skilled, highly motivated F-35 Project Office, Senior Manager to support the F-35 Sustainment Line of Business.

What You Will Be Doing

What is the Project Office?

-Integrates GSC support with multiple functional teams through Pre-Award (Acquisition) Management (Prime RFP through Subcontract Award).

-Serves as a centralized point of contact to the business for post-award (Execution) management of contractual deliverables.

-Reduces load/questions on LM Procurement team by using standard tools and business rhythms to drive reporting to internal and external customers.

Supports subcontract negotiations with both suppliers and our government customer as needed.

-Documents/Releases negotiation targets for Global Supply Chain Procurement teams.

-Supports Global Supply Chain Procurement teams through updated/changing requirements.

In this fast-paced role, you will play a critical part managing a diverse team with diverse priorities in support of various Sustainment programs including:

- Repairs (CONUS/OCONUS)

- Depot Activations & Capability Enhancements

- Site Activation and Hardware (SAHW)

- Modification Management

- Performance Based Logistics (PBL) Contracting

This leader will work closely with Program Management, Contracts, Pricing and Estimating, Global Supply Chain, Engineering, Sustainment Operations and other functional support teams to support proposal and execution activities. In this role, you will make a difference to our bottom line by ensuring subcontracts support prime contract needs both pre and post award.

Additional responsibilities include:

-Represents GSC on various improvement / efficiencies throughout the global supply chain.

-Supports team in meeting deadlines / commitments

-Keeps the largely virtual working team energized and motivated to perform at the highest levels.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college

- Experience in Supply Chain Management

- Subcontract / Program Management experience

- Leadership Experience (formal or informal)

- Experience in in developing and executing business/subcontract management strategies

- Negotiation Experience

Desired Skills:

- 12 years professional experience and specialized training commensurate

- Experience recruiting, training and developing subordinates

- Experience multi-tasking and prioritizing in an environment with numerous internal customers

- Experience interfacing with multiple levels of management, both internally and externally

- Experience thinking "outside the box" for innovative solutions to challenging programmatic issues and risks

- Superior business acumen

- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

- Ability to obtain a secret clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
