Background & Purpose of the Job
This position plans and oversees the execution of promotional activities within the Dressings Category within the Foods division to achieve customer service, inventory, and waste targets. This includes leading a cross-functional Project Management team to develop new merchandising displays, signaling dependent demand for staple packs, working with a 3rd party manufacturer to produce the displays, coordinating order patterns with customer service staff as well as monitor the movement of stock to the network. The position is the focal point for promotional brand and innovational execution for Customer Development and Brand Building as well as the correspondence and project leadership with many cross functional counterparts and is therefore a key role in the Customer Supply Chain Organization.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
Execute the SC planning process of promotional Special Pack & Display planning including: supply planning, production monitoring, customer service tracking/communication, inventory management and project time line management to reduce waste and slow-moving goods, while keeping customer service as key focus
Key interface between Supply Planning, Demand Planning, WIP Planning, Capacity Planning, Specs Mgmt, QA, Brand Building, Customer Marketing, Logistics Operations, customer service, Procurement and Packaging Development team members
Sit as a key member of the working project team developing new projects
Conduct focused improvement activities and after-action reviews as needed to improve performance against key KPIs and issue avoidance for future projects
Key in cost control through forecast error minimization, project coordination, and inventory planning

What You’ll Need To Succeed
Bachelor Degree in Business, Logistics, Operations Planning, Engineering or related fields
Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in Planning or other Supply Chain experience
SAP and APO required
