Unilever is looking for a Sales Operations IT Manager to take a B2B sales team to the next level through the implementation of leading CRM, Sales Enablement, Trade Spend Management, Reporting, and Workflow capabilities and tools. As the technical guru and master of data on the CD (sales) Operations team, you will bring our vision to life by translating business requirements into specific deliverables that you will drive through your coordination with Global IT and 3rd party development teams. Your leadership skills, passion for delivery, knowledge of project management, detailed oriented nature, and love of data will not only keep those initiatives on track, but ensure that the systems are accurate and functioning properly. If not, you will be on a personal mission to dig into the details, slice the data and understand the feeds/processes to figure out what is wrong, document what is needed, and work through others to make things right. Your prior experience building and implementing systems, documenting user requirements, coordinating UAT efforts, and leading others will ensure your team’s success.
It would be great if you already had experience implementing Salesforce CRM and Trade management tools, pulling data from SAP, understanding EDI interfaces, and had dug into Power BI reports and interfaces before. Who You Are & What You’ll Do
Your team will manage IT initiatives for the Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) North American (NAm) Customer Development (CD, Sales) Operations team
Manage full life cycle for the development and support of applications, processes and procedures including but not limited to: CRM, Sales Enablement, Sales Reporting, and Trade Promotion Management.
While this position does not directly manage software developers, you will own the relationship between the business unit and local & global IT teams to ensure overall project delivery. You will also work closely with the Sr. CD Operations Manager in the identification and selection of external service and application providers.
Systems Development - Partner with CD to identify new use cases, develop process maps, create user stories, leverage internal and external partners to ensure project delivery, develop and execute UAT plans.
Systems Training/Change Management – Develop and execute Change Management and Training activities. Partner with Communication and Training resources within the CD Capabilities Building team to ensure seamless delivery.
Systems Support – create and manage end user ticket queues for applicable systems. Drive break fix efforts and coordinate with Local & Global IT to resolve technical issues.
Ensure proper systems on-boarding materials and processes are in place for new sales hires.
Lead data validation processes between existing and new system implementations.
Lead the analysis of any underlying system issues, identify root cause, and lead solution delivery.
Partner with CD team daily to resolve any issues they have regarding data, systems or processing

What You’ll Need To Succeed
Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
7+ years of System/IT/Reporting support experience, preferably in a Sales Operations function of a manufacturing or consumer products company with cross functional exposure.
Full software development lifecycle experience including process documentation, specification development, design, programming, testing, and implementation.
Experience implementing and enhancing larger business management systems such as Salesforce, SAP, EDI, or other OTC and ERP solutions.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL, Access, and general database design.
Business dashboard and reporting development experience using reporting tools such as Microsoft PowerBI.
Demonstrated communication skills (written and oral) are critical to the role’s success as it interfaces heavily with cross-functional managers.
Excellent understanding of IT application systems and the infrastructure that enables them.
External view of the marketplace is a plus as it ensures future strategies are relevant to the business.
