Background and Purpose of Job
Working within the newly created Digital Commerce team for Beauty and Personal Care, the Digital Commerce Category Lead will help to take the ecommerce consumer experience to new heights.
You will be a key force driving the engagement and conversion between the always-on consumer and our always-on brands, thus increasing growth in this exciting and fast-paced environment.
You are a passionate, digitally-minded ecommerce innovator who can think and act strategically and creatively. You are obsessed with providing world-class brand experiences and a deep understanding of what drives and influences ecommerce sales and outstanding consumer experiences.
You are a subject matter expert, knowing the right questions to ask at the right time, while providing direct leadership to brand teams so that they can reach consumers in compelling, creative ways that help maximize the return.
You’ll love to be part of a small squad that incubates digital strategies and works with brands to drive growth in ecommerce. You'll join a top-performing team who has fun, learns from failures and innovates every day.
As the Digital Commerce expert, you’ll help lead and shape the thinking around how to drive the core business and innovate to grow the ecommerce for one of the Beauty and Personal care categories. You will create, optimize and learn on a regular basis.

What You’ll Do
The Digital Commerce Category Lead role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Develop and execute ecommerce strategies
Build an unparalleled shopping experience in collaboration with Brand and Ecommerce teams that is optimized for brand experience and conversion of sales
Drive the Ecommerce Net Revenue Management (E-NRM) initiatives (assortment, price, pack, promotion)
Identify new business opportunities and evaluate potential partnerships
Lead initiatives aimed at driving top line growth, enhance our consumer experience and increase operating efficiency and/or profitability
Set targets and conduct analysis to prioritize features that improve metrics, working cross-functionally with brand, ecommerce sales, finance and supply chain teams
Explore and pilot opportunities for new business models and initiatives to explore new revenue streams
Build best practices to be shared with the broader organization
Analyze data to build insight capabilities to optimize our projects
Develop best-in-class acquisition activities
Find, analyze and share industry trends and key influencers
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field (Master’s Degree welcomed)
A minimum of 5 years of experience across the ecommerce landscape
Strong business and analytical acumen
Ability to lead a cross functional team to deliver complex global ecommerce projects
Proven track record in optimizing direct-to-consumer campaigns and Amazon to maximize conversions
Experience creating best in class search engine marketing strategies, inclusive of content optimization
Proven track record of growing online sales through managing product assortment, enhanced content and product ratings and reviews on a major online retailer (Amazon, Walmart, Jet, Target, etc.)
Ability to analyze website performance metrics and drive user behavior, translate metrics into actionable reporting and grow online sales through optimization of engagement and acquisition
Experience with the day-to-day trading operation through common platforms such as Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware), etc.
Knowledge of technical setup activities for ecommerce platforms
Plus: knowledge of statistical tools, Google Analytics implementation, working in SQL/Python/R, Tableau, Looker, Salesforce, Python, Ruby
