Unilever Associate Manager of Digital Media Operations and Activation in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey

Background & Purpose of the Job

The Digital Media Operations and Activation role supports all day-to-day operations of the media function within the Beauty & Personal Care and Foods & Refreshments businesses including digital campaign planning, tagging strategy, implementation and tracking. The Associate Manager is responsible for helping provide Ad Operations, tagging and technical recommendations with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities:

Act as liaison with internal and agency teams including: media, data, digital services and measurement team regarding planning, tracking, and delivery of audiences and campaigns Support the full funnel media agenda (awareness, engagement and conversion) – working with People Data Center to convert the Data Management Platform audiences into media audiences Responsible for supporting partnerships with media joint business partners (such as Google, Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat) to drive data led marketing use cases - explore new partnerships and expand current ones with increased data focus Understand and advise on the dynamics and specifics of data taxonomy and tagging strategy Collaborate with measurement team to ensure data loops are being fed back onto plans including development of AB variant testing in partnership with Consumer Marketing Insights Coordinate and support Media Command Center media activation driving greater brand relevance for specific agile and cultural event alignment Partner with internal and agency stakeholders on data partnership evaluation and usage for media activation Coordinate and support Media Command Center media activation driving greater brand relevance for specific agile and cultural event alignment Responsible for media operations and governance around the use and deployment and collection of data by the media teams and agencies Lead relationships and processes with tagging and digital verification partners, e.g. Sizmek, MOAT, Double Verify Drive cross-collaboration with internal stakeholders including: marketing insights, technology, brands to create WOW and processes to deliver data-driven media strategies Help create process documents, in coordination with the media agency and internal tech services, to ensure all parties in the media life cycle are in check Advise & consult with brand teams regarding advertising technologies, tracking and campaign performance Demonstrate accountability for you and agency partner to drive campaign performance specific to media Oversight of media rate cards as well as accountable measures such as brand safety, viewability, and fraud Development of proper briefing templates and process to agency, aligning back to strategy and business goals Stewardship and sharing of media performance with key Unilever stakeholders

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Preferably 1-2 years agency or client experience in the digital operations field

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload

  • Sense of procedure within a corporate environment

  • Strong people skills

  • Ability to speak and present before vendors, brand teams and agency partners

  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Word, and Excel
