Unilever Associate CMI Manager Advanced Analytics & Measurement - Personal Care, North America in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey

Background & Purpose of the Job

The CMI Measurement and Advanced Analytics Associate will act as the primary subject matter expert and lead the efforts across research, insights, measurement, and data management in support of Personal Care’s Digital Marketing, Media and Commerce (DMMC) team. This Associate will closely align with key internal stakeholders as well as outside business partners to maximize the use of media and marketing analytics in support of the commercial Personal Care business.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

  • Report into an experienced Measurement and Analytics Lead and work with Digital Marketing experts

  • Drive the execution and continuous improvement of the DMMC Measurement framework

  • Analyze ROI data to generate insights, articulate them clearly by telling a story and identify the ‘so what’ or performance actions for media optimization

  • Own all insights and measurement around key media workstreams

  • Support and collaborate with the influencer team and influencer agencies on measurement and insights

  • Coordinate closely with the DMMC team on the strategy, planning, analysis, and execution of key projects, including custom consumer insights, brand and partnership studies, and cross-channel media measurement projects

  • Collaborate with UL Data & Analytics team to drive automation of data input and data output (data input – automation of data for modeling; data output – dashboards, visualization, automation of insights through GenAI development, etc)

  • Lead partner research and measurement initiatives across Marketing & Media, acting as a strategy consultant in support of partner management, business development, and media teams to proactively identify opportunities and needs

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on developing measurable KPIs and learning agendas

  • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for knowledge and guidance around trends in consumer research, media measurement and industry intelligence, resources, and capabilities

  • Manage relationships with research, media and influencer agencies

  • Identify opportunities to expand capabilities through exploring new vendors, methodologies, and tools/resources

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree required and 5 or more combined years of experience in any of the following areas: consumer insights, market research, data analytics, media analytics

  • Experience handling and joining large data sets for displaying via a data visualization tool (like DOMO, PowerBI) is a major plus

  • SQL and other coding experience is preferred

  • Proficient with MS Word and PowerPoint. Skilled with Excel

  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Strong ability to make sense of large amounts of data and package insights from both syndicated and primary data resources

  • Ability to learn new tools quickly and often independently with minimal formal training

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to convert complex findings into insightful, concise, and easily digestible e-mails, reports and presentations

  • Must have strong organizational skills and be detail- and process-oriented

  • Ability to manage research & measurement budget and prioritize projects based on team and partner needs

Pay: The pay range for this position is $84,400 to $126,600. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
