Description: Within our Waverly, NY manufacturing facility, we are seeking a highly qualified Maintenance Supervisor (Night Shift) on our Plant Technical team to continue moving our organization to even larger levels of people development, equipment reliability, and production efficiencies. At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $83,000 and $99,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 10%.

  • Use your natural leadership ability daily to build, lead, mentor, develop, and grow highly functioning teams of up to 40 maintenance team members

  • Partner with multi-functional teams within the Production and Quality Assurance groups within the plant.

  • Ensure successful management, accurate training, and professional development of all maintenance technicians.

  • Provide mentorship and direction to hourly maintenance employees on shift to maintain the plant facility, grounds, and equipment.

  • Respond to maintenance emergency conditions with the accurate mixture of skilled craftspeople in order to minimize downtime, planning major repairs and installations.

  • Establish critical system priority lists, ensure all materials used for work orders are tracked, and balance multiple projects simultaneously to completion.

  • Leads and executes the department s quality systems to achieve quality goals.

  • Coordinates the sanitation program effectiveness to ensure food safety standards are met in the department.

  • Monitors team operations and makes recommendations for labor and manufacturing efficiencies, cost savings, and quality improvements.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications): * Associates/Technical Degree with three (3) years of leadership experience OR five (5) years of experience in an industrial setting three (3) of which are in a leadership role.

  • Ability to work 10-12-hour shifts.

  • Experience with PLCs and automated machinery control systems.

We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications): * A Bachelor s degree in an Engineering or Industrial Management field including four (4) years as a maintenance supervisor in a dairy manufacturing facility (cheese, yogurt, cream, or milk).

  • Experience with a Work Order Execution system within MAXIMO.
