Randstad is seeking an electronics solderer for the Cranston Area. The candidate must have a SMT JSTD001 or IPC 601 Soldering Certification. The candidate should be versed in building: assemblies, subassemblies, circuit boards, and SMT soldering. The candidate needs to be versed in the use of hand tools, soldering equipment, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies. If you have advanced skills and are certified in soldering, then this is a great opportunity to get recognized by a top rated company! This is a temporary/contract position for 2 weeks (potential for longer term)! Responsibilities

• Builds, assembles, and tests new and existing products and components.

• Installs, repairs, assembles, tests and maintains in good operating condition all current electronic equipment.

• Troubleshoot products by studying diagrams and replacing components as required.

• Responsible for building/assembling electro-mechanical assemblies and subassemblies

• Must Have SMT JSTD001 or IPC601 Soldering Certifications

• Populates/solders circuit boards with all required components

• SMT Soldering along with some hand soldering

• Conducts performance, functionality, and life testing on products.

• Measure and record electronic polarity in a circuit

• Ability to use oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies (Preferred)

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 6 hours at one time

• working weekends
