Factory Logistics Shift Lead
Night Shift: 6PM - 6 AM

Background & Purpose of the Job
Responsible for end to end factory logistics operations at the Covington, TN manufacturing site. Managing up to 15+ employees. In addition, accountable to deliver logistics safety, quality, cost savings, business waste reduction, customer service, continuous improvement projects and sustainability improvements at the Covington, TN site.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
Coordinates team assignments/rotations to ensure appropriate workflow and efficiency in meeting receiving/warehousing requirements and relieves team members as needed.
Monitors team performance to ensure adherence to safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Provides constructive feedback as needed and advises the Shift Coordinator of performance problems.
Maintain complete and accurate inventory control recordkeeping.
Monitor OTM for delivery/pick-up appointments.
Perform and monitor cycle counting process.
Oversee Batch management SAP for NFG and FG inventory.
Monitor the Tempering process for materials.
Monitors the shipping/receiving/warehousing operations by conducting periodic audits and observing performance of duties. Provides assistance and training to Warehouse Technicians as needed.
Works closely with team members to provide development and cross training in all aspects of the operation so that they will meet specifications required in the certification process.
Prepares shift reports and provides timely, reliable data on quality, equipment damage or mechanical problems, rework, downtime, team efficiencies, destroyed product delivery via Nutrition 101 or to the extruder, etc. and submits to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Works closely with QA Dept. for Hold/Block inventory.
Monitors the quality of product and materials.
Interfaces with other business units on production related problems.
Champions shift turnover meetings.
Performs troubleshooting of problem situations, identifies potential solutions and assists in problem resolution to expedite the flow of work in meeting internal customer requirements. Provides inventory support in helping locate materials and correct improper placements.
Monitors forklift performance, performs basic equipment troubleshooting and coordinates with vendor if work is required.
Interfaces with Lazer Spot employees.

What you’ll need to succeed
High School Diploma Required
Associates or higher preferred.
Proven people leadership and change management experience.
Strong communication and influencing skills.
Holding people accountable to deliver executional excellence and drive continuous improvements processes and ways of working.
3+ years of related work experience with a clear competency in Logistics and Supply Chain.
Prefer strong understanding of inbound receiving, inventory control, warehousing and transportation operations, manufacturing operations, product deployment, and order to cash processes.
Prefer SAP ECC (operational), SAP WMS (warehouse management) or other similar system experience.
