SYNNEX Corporation Process Training Specialist in Columbus, Ohio

About this role Our mission is to empower both our seasoned and new associate-level team members at the Distribution Center through dynamic process-related training. We are searching for an individual to step into the role of the go-to Subject Matter Expert for their assigned area(s), driving excellence in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that underpin the pillars of Quality, Safety, and Security. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in bolstering our Operations team, offering vital SOP training, on-the-job guidance, meticulous auditing, and essential employee orientation. Collaborate closely with our Operations Training Specialist to amplify our training strategy across the entire Distribution Center. Join us in shaping the future of our workforce! What you'll do Performs on-the-job functional training to new and existing employees on all Standard Operating Procedures within assigned departments Partners with local Logistics Center Quality & Continuous Improvement team members in order to support all aspects of Quality, Safety, and Security. Provides recommendations for improvement opportunities in these areas. Performs productivity related tasks in order to support Operational requirements Works with Operations Training Specialist, Industrial Engineers, Logistics Center Directors, Auditors and Quality Manager with reviewing new and pre-existing SOPs and processes Assists with evaluating the effectiveness of training programs delivered through various established measurement methods such as surveys and training skills attainment. What we're looking for Someone who can execute instructions and can request clarification when needed. Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills. Is able to perform basic mathematical calculations. Detail oriented. A strong communicator Someone who can get along with all levels of management and different people with different learning styles. Strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion. Ability to transport 50 Lbs 3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience training and working in a warehouse Can occasionally work non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
