Cybersecurity Engineer, Junior

The Opportunity: As a cyber mission specialist, you understand the value of hunt-forward operations, and you know that battles are won in the grey. At Booz Allen, you can use your cyberspace operations experience to create solutions that will be executed on a worldwide stage. We're looking for a cyber mission specialist like you to apply your skills in cybersecurity risk assessments and impact our nation's security.In this role, you'll be counted on to help understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions. You'll work with your team to leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to our nation's secur

This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis skills to adequately assess and inform operators, senior leadership, and commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for our client. You Have:

Experience with security principles, approaches, and technologies in academic or internship environments

Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Knowledge of general computer systems, information security software, and hardware components, network systems, databases, or information security safeguards

Ability to think critically, independently, and in a team environment, analyze information systems for security posture, and communicate the information effectively

Ability to obtain a security clearance

HS diploma or GED

Ability to obtain Security+ Certification within 6 months of hire

Nice If You Have:

Experience with analyzing network configurations and network architecture diagrams

Experience with working on major DoD space programs

Top Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree

CISSP Certification
