We have an immediate opportunity available for a dynamic and innovative individual supporting one of our Key Account Customers onsite. Applicants must be available to work afternoons & a weekend day after training. Key Responsibilities: * Support our customer by providing the best routing solution to expedite urgent shipment requests via phone and emails. * Handle inbound/outbound customer and vendor calls in relation to shipments. * Review domestic/international flight routings to provide the best solution to customer request/ inquiry. * Provide written and verbal communication with key stakeholders. * Collaborate with vendors and brokers on solutions while building effective relationships. * Shipment planning, book shipment with airlines and monitor shipment execution using various tools. * Proactive monitoring of all shipment milestones while in transit. * Track/trace and trouble shoot distressed shipments with airlines and vendors to resolve issues and provide timely updates to the customer. * Provide support and interact with various groups. * Prioritize task and work within a team environment with some level of independency for decision making. * Adherence to work instructions by reviewing and applying the details to manage domestic and international shipments. * Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Research and analyze routes efficiently. * Review workload and ensure proper handling of shipments. * Follow-up with issues on pickups and/or deliveries. * Escalate service issues or critical situations to supervisor/lead on duty. All other job functions that may be assigned. What we look for: A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in freight forwarding preferred. Critical thinking skills. Negotiation and organizational skills. Knowledge of geography, time zones and reading/understand military time. Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Keyboarding skills 40wpm. Proactive and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork and flexibility with 24/7/365 environment.
