As the Food Operations Manager , you will have oversight of resident dining operations and drive strategic growth with both internal brands and National Retail Brands. We are looking for an innovative leader who is comfortable with technology advances and learning new retail programs.

This candidate will be responsible for fostering and maintaining an exceptional relationship with the client andwill develop a frontline, union staff.

The successful candidate will:

  • assist the GM with oversight of all food service day-to-day operations;

  • successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline staff;

  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;

  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;

  • help develop strategic plans;

  • work hands-on with the team to ensure safety and sanitation (HACCP) compliance; developing and mentoring; engaging and fostering culture;

  • have daily interaction with patients, their families and the clinical team to ensure patient satisfaction;

  • create a positive environment;

The ideal candidate will have:

  • food service management experience in a contract-services, healthcare, or high-volume hospitality environment;

  • strong leadership skills and proven ability to foster culture, retain employees, and develop frontline staff;

  • culinary and/or food service experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;

  • proven ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrated professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;

  • be enthusiastic, eager to learn, and self-motivated;

  • a results-driven mindset that enjoys working hands-on to support the team;

  • proven ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;

What We Offer

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
