Our client, Chelsea Milling Company (JIFFY mixes), in Chelsea, MI is currently seeking an experienced accounting professional to work as an Accounts Receivable and Deduction Analyst! This is an immediate direct hire opportunity. Apply today!

Location:  Chelsea Milling Company (aka JIFFY mixes) located in downtown Chelsea, Michigan

Compensation: Competitive pay, based on experience

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Apply daily cash receipts and payment for sales
  • Support bank reconciliations and AR reporting
  • Ensure compliance and audit standards are being met
  • Run and maintain deductions tracking and reporting
  • Dispute and pursue collections on invalid deductions
  • Process deductions into system, offset and research invoices, and complete re-bills

Here's What You Need To Apply:

  • HS Diploma/GED; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting/business is preferred
  • Previous work experience in accounting, ideally in accounts receivable/collections
  • Proficiency with MS Office and great Excel skills; experience with SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Word preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks, and remain flexible
  • Prior experience working in the manufacturing and/or consumer packaged goods industry is preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Plex ERP system a plus!
