The Maintenance Supervisor has the primary responsibility for protecting the food byconducting maintenance procedures and documentation to meet all regulatory,customer, and ASPIRE requirements. The Maintenance Supervisor provides leadership and executes maintenance support with the plant's strategic and production plans. Accountabilities: Supervise and provide technical knowledge in the repair of breakdowns and troubleshooting. Ensures responsive and proactive maintenance support to all plant customers. Ensure service calls and machinery repairs are completed in a timely manner. Validate repairs and preventative maintenance are done correctly and in a timely manner. Prepare technician to schedule for 24/7 day operation line coverage and preventative maintenance. Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to document bakery needs for the fiscal year, including the cost value of equipment repair or replacement. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for uptime and production throughput by implementing proven professional maintenance and reliability improvement processes. Maintain preventive/predictive maintenance programs (including failure and root cause analysis). Service and repair equipment on a continual basis. Adhere to established maintenance schedules. Maintain a safe work environment - Hold regular safety meetings and ensure safety compliance. Select, supervise, and provide professional development to maintenance personnel. Ensure all equipment and building are maintained and operational up to company standards. Drives reduction of losses through breakdown analysis and other appropriate continuous improvement tools. Maintains all parts acquisition activities. Maintain a compliant stockroom operation that provides repair parts for critical process equipment as well as necessary consumables for the plant. Participates in and supports the safety program. (I.E.: weekly safety meetings, shop safety inspections, enforcement of lock-out/tag-out program, and all other OSHA-required regulations). Working knowledge of national, state, and local regulatory requirements in the areas of food safety, safety, environment, and emergency management. Service and repair equipment on a continual basis.Adhere to established maintenance schedules. Manage labor within budget. Any other duties as assigned. Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is required A community college technical degree plus 5 years of shop floor experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or Chemical Engineering Previous Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S experience Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) electrical troubleshooting knowledge Knowledge of Ammonia refrigeration systems Food and/or beverage experience SAP or equivalent systems experience Shift:1st Aspire Bakeries is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
